Teaching and Learning with AI Conference

Most AI Literacy research focuses on students’ self-perception of generalized AI literacy. Few assess students' AI literacy skills  in the context of information literacy. A survey of 10 multiple choice questions was developed to test student’s knowledge of AI in information literacy skills aligned to the five criteria described in the AAC&U Information Literacy VALUE Rubric. The gaps identified in this study are the first step in assessing how to integrate AI into institutional curricula and creating relevant learning opportunities for students in an AI assisted world.
