This pre-conference session is aimed at first-time attendees and will provide an orientation to introduce the event’s goals, formats, and key themes—pedagogy, assessment, instructional design, accessibility, academic integrity, and institutional policy—while showing how to navigate the schedule, choose sessions and posters that match your goals, and identify useful networking opportunities. Attendees will get tips on how to maximize their engagement with the entirety of the event. Also, presenters will provide a demonstration for any new presenters on how to submit their materials to the UCF Institutional Repository, STARS.
