About me
Amandajean (Aj) Freking Nolte (she/her/hers) is the Arts and Humanities Librarian and an Assistant Professor at the University of Northern Iowa Rod Library. In this role, she supports teaching, learning, and research across the arts and humanities departments. Aj is passionate about librarianship because it provides space to collaborate with information consumers and creators as they navigate complex information systems. Through this community, she explores what it means to be critically information-literate scholars and humans today and why it matters for the future.
