About me
Hi! I’m Dr. Dione R. Thomas, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of North Florida, researcher, speaker, and AI collaboration coach passionate about helping educators and graduate students use AI in ethical, practical, and human-centered ways. My work focuses on educational leadership, overage learners, community partnerships, and supporting busy educators through innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and productivity. At the Teaching and Learning with AI Conference, I’d love to connect with others about: * Ethical and practical uses of AI in higher education and K-12 settings * Using AI to support doctoral students and independent research * AI for educator productivity, curriculum design, and instructional planning * Community-engaged research and culturally responsive practices * Balancing academia, motherhood, wellness, and entrepreneurship I’m always excited to collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn how others are integrating AI in meaningful ways that still keep people at the center of the work.
