About me
Ebrahim Bamanger, PhD (he/him) is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Center for World Languages and Cultures at the University of Denver, and an Adjunct Professor with the Office of Internationalization. He also teaches in the Middlebury College Summer Program. Dr. Bamanger’s research spans language education, language pedagogy, and technology-enhanced learning, with publications and presentations that explore high-leverage teaching practices, and the role of technology and multimodal tools (e.g., augmented reality, virtual environments, and artificial intelligence) in language acquisition. He is increasingly focused on the ethical, pedagogical, and practical integration of artificial intelligence in world language classrooms, investigating how AI-mediated tools can support personalized learning, communicative competence, and culturally grounded language learning while addressing issues of bias, accuracy, and cultural representation.
