About me
Jeff Sharon is a Course Director in the New Media Journalism M.A. program at Full Sail University. Jeff has extensive experience in multimedia journalism, having worked for both UCF Athletics as the Director of Broadcast Production, and the former WNEG-TV in Toccoa, Georgia as Sports Reporter and Anchor. He was the Founder and Managing Editor of Black & Gold Banneret, a blog covering UCF Sports for Vox Media’s SB Nation and has been the public address announcer for UCF Football and Men’s Basketball since 2020. He graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television, and earned his Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism at the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University.
