About me
I'm a scientist, lawyer (IP), educator, and writer. I'm very interested in the potential of AI to deliver on personalized or individualized education, enabling all students - even the ones that don't often succeed in our "one size fits most" system - to thrive. I think the most important questions we need answers to in the age of AI, however, are these: “What *is* the university experience of tomorrow? What is the new job description for a professor? What does education look like and even *mean* in this new age?” I’m active in and research AI in education, especially higher ed, and AI in fiction writing. I love dinosaurs/paleontology, fantasy fiction, snow, training in MMA, and the idea of moving way back north.
