Dr. Marti Snyder is the Director of Faculty Professional Development at Nova Southeastern University's Learning and Educational Center and a professor in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice. With over 15 years of experience in corporate learning and development and a robust academic career, Marti's research and teaching focus on the intersection of learning technology, design, and information systems, with recent work emphasizing the application and responsible use of generative AI in teaching, learning, and research in higher education. She is the secretary on the board of the Society for Experiential Education (SEE) where she serves as the chair of the Experiential Education Academy (EEA) and serves on the editorial boards of The Qualitative Report (TQR) and Experiential Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (ELTHE) journals.
