About me
Hello! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the STEM Transformation Institute, College of Arts, Sciences & Education at Florida International University in Miami. I earned my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Learning Design and Technology from Texas A&M University in August 2024. My dissertation examined the digital competencies of in-service K–12 teachers in U.S. schools, emphasizing the multilevel ecological factors that shape teachers’ pedagogical digital competence. I have presented my work at national and international conferences and have published multiple first-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals. In my first year of postdoctoral research at FIU, I contributed to the NSF-funded project, supporting high school physics teachers in encouraging students to pursue careers in science (physics). In my current role, I lead a research project on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education, focusing on faculty practices, student engagement, and the ethical considerations of AI adoption. I collaborate with multiple stakeholders, incorporating their perspectives to inform research-based approaches to AI integration.
